Pricing

Simple plans for recurring round robins.

PBRS is priced around organizer workflows: import results, update PBR Scores, check players in, build groups, and publish a clean player board. Start with a 14-day trial, then connect Stripe billing when the organization is ready.

Billing model

Each customer owns an organization. Stripe owns subscription billing, while PBRS controls access to admin actions based on subscription state.

  • Trialing and active accounts can edit
  • Canceled or unpaid accounts keep data
  • Public boards can stay stable
  • Billing recovery routes through the admin dashboard

Launch recommendation

Lead with pickleball round robin organizers first. Other sports should be offered when they follow the same repeatable pattern: recurring events, accumulated results, ranking/order, and public boards.

  • Pickleball first
  • Padel and tennis ladders later
  • Cornhole and volleyball possible later
  • Avoid complex brackets at launch

Questions

Before you start a trial.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Signup creates a 14-day trial first. Billing is finished from the admin dashboard when Stripe checkout is configured and the organizer is ready to continue.

What happens when the trial ends?

Admin edits lock after an expired trial or inactive subscription, but customer data is not automatically deleted. The dashboard points owners to checkout or billing recovery.

Can players edit rankings?

No. Players use read-only public boards. Only authenticated admins can update rosters, imports, check-ins, group settings, and league visibility.

Is PBRS an official player rating?

No. PBRS is a placement score for organizing recurring play. It uses recorded results to help fill groups; it is not a permanent skill judgment or governing-body rating.

Can this work for sports beyond pickleball?

Yes when the workflow is recurring: results accumulate over time, admins approve updates, and participants need a public order or board. Pickleball round robins remain the launch focus.
